Bright Irons don’t forget youngster

|

Mubama

The new West Ham arrivals have been exciting but in one respect I’m pleased that we didn’t bring a striker into the club.

However, I can reveal that there was a disagreement between David Moyes and Tim Steidten over one player who remains unnamed.

The club were looking at a front man – described by our main source as an older European journeyman and others – but the manager wasn’t keen and the pair agreed to amicably drop the issue.

Why am I pleased?

Simply because during all the comings and goings a very important young man is maybe getting overlooked – Divin Mubama.

He may not be quite ready but with Antonio and Bowen perhaps vying for the the top spot this young man remains a highly important player and in my view deserves his chance ahead of Danny Ings.

Things are looking so bright all round but I want to see this fella getting minutes.
