Irons look to do Saudi deal

|

West Ham appear to be ending the loan window with a flourish and are now reported to be in the market for another striker.

We are reported to have made a second bid for Nordsjaelland’s Ibrahm Osman and it appears we are also hoping to do a cheapie deal for Portuguese centre forward  Jota who is currently with Saudi outfit Al-Ittihad.

Talksport – who have close links with the Irons boardroom – claims he wants to leave the club and that the Hammers are interested along with Newcastle

And Sportslens (24 January) also report report Newcastle’s interest and there is real hope a deal can be organised after he was omitted from the Saudi club’s s latest training camp in Dubai.

And they added that is clearly the strongest indication that there will  be no way back for Jota, which has sparked hope at West Ham that they might be able to land the 24-year-old on a cheap deal.
