Irons make Adebayor position clear

|
adebaWest Ham have revealed to ClaretandHugh this evening that Emmanuel Adebayor is one of those on their list of striker targets.
We understand that talks have been held with Spurs over the reported possible year long loan deal which would see the player arrive as the club’s striker crisis worsens.
However, this is not a done deal and the other front men mentioned today -Simone Zaza is due to hold talks with the club whilst it is understood a £5 million bid has finally been lodged with Galatasaray for Burak Yilmaz.
Spurs would need to subsidise at least half of Adebayor’s wages were the deal to go ahead and there’s a lot of wrangling to do for that to happen.
We were told: “Adebayor is a possible but a deal is nowhere near done. We have several other options and hope to sort it by the end of the week.”

Not a player I want to see, not a club I want us to deal with but if it happens it happens, no doubt we will be informed by the so called veteran of 50 years Kevin that this shows another sign of regression blindly forgetting that his messiah wanted him previously. We will then be all educated on all things Sam and he will make us aware that Bilic has only won 1 game in 3 and will trot out the turd only failed because of all the injury problems, he got us promoted, the chairman are ****, I told you this would happen, I’ve been going since 1958 so I know best, shame there’s not a manager transfer window blah blah ****ing blah… Floppy sac , Johammer,67850,Rolfe,Oslo I apologise for saying you are a bunch of opinioted ********s you been totally surpassed by this one

The club have invested so much in Caroll now there aint alot they can do other than see if he finally pays off, lol. We can all keep the dream alive, for now 😉

  • canchaz says:

This is following the same consistent pattern that’s been there pretty well throughout the transfer window.
All these strikers would be stop gaps until we have Carroll and now, Zarate and Zakho back. I had a thought that the club’s reasoning is to allow time to see if Carroll is finally going to pay-off. If he doesn’t then they will re-visit the problem in January. By then they will also likely have Valencia back too and a much clearer picture of the whole striker set up will emerge.

He usually starts on fire for his new clubs for a couple of months.Might be all we need him for until Carroll & Valencia are back.To put him on a par with Carlton god bless him is taking the p*ss though. He is far better than Cole could ever dream of being 😉

  • The Demon says:

String Spurs out until the window closes then apologise and sign someone else at 23:59. Sorry Mr Levy – does that f**k up your plans and leave you paying £100k a week for a benchwarmer? Oops!

  • Hammerman6 says:

Sorry, found that a bit confusing, but I agree that Adebyour is certainly not the answer.

  • bubs says:

With Valencia out now till next year a winger/ Forward is more important,
We will end up with an unknown Italian who may not fit in our team, because once Carroll comes back either him or Sakho will sit on the bench,we need quick feet around one CF
Zarate is one Payet is another if we loose Noble we need one other at the moment we have Jarvis or Alfitano,Callum or Lanzini,
Adebayor will only give us extra cover for the other 2 or a lonee from Italy,
It’s that or go back to hump and lump football
If that comes back we go back to the world of KEVIN AND HIPPO no thanks

  • Green man says:

Good grief, another wage thief. I’d rather have Carlton back than him. They’re about on par, average at best but at least Mr Cole loves the club.

    • TRB says:

Totally agreed. I’d rather have Cole back any day of the week than Adebayor (even on a season’s loan). I’d choose not do any dealings with Spurs ever again. Unfortunately, I don’t run our club.

Been inconsistent, he is desperate to stay in London, it looks as if we are looking just for cheap loans, we seem to be linked with that many players?
