Irons midfielder and Moyes face big decision

Coventry- impressive

David Moyes and Conor Coventry face very big decisions over the next few weeks.

The Hammers midfielder is out of contract at the end of the season and has yet to get anything other than just a few first team minutes.

However, having been involved and giving a fine performance against Silkeborg the manager spoke in glowing terms about the academy product as a player and a guy.

He explained that he had enjoyed his performance and that he wanted to keep him at the club  as he had a terrific attitude and was “very low maintenance.”

Like Josh Cullen before him, Coventry is desperate to remain at the Hammers and will have a big decision to make should he be offered a new deal.

Hopefully Moyes will give him another opportunity to show us what the player has against FCSB on Thursday evening. It may be a dead rubber but important for Coventry.
