West Ham are being reported as pressing ahead with moves to bring Marseille midfielder Dimitri Payet to the Boleyn.

The 28-year-old France international playmaker is available for around Β£6million and has been considered by Everton but is more said to be more enthusiastic for a move to London.

He is described asΒ an midfielder and winger –Β a player who is “quick” and “blessed with terrific technique and dribbling skills”.

West Ham have also been offered Crystal Palace target Yohan Cabaye from Paris St Germain and continue to be linked with Loic Remy at Chelsea.

The former Newcastle star is expected to leave the French club and is looking at a potential return to England declaring that he needs to move away from the French club.

Roman another club gets flagged up every day yesterday he was going to Mexico today it’s Turkey tomorrow wherever his agent puts the pin in the map,
He is like the player above waiting for the highest bidder,
They will be all known as the Marseille mercenaries, that’s what I liked about Zarate,Sakho and Kouyate they all wanted West Ham not just the money,

  • Roman says:

Any news on Andre -Pierre Gignac after Ayew has flow the coop to join Swansea??

  • bubs says:

Trouble is he sounds like his agent is getting ready Β£80k per week who does he think he is
Never heard of him till 3 days ago now he thinks he is worth Β£20k a week more than we will offer,
Does he know it’s only us and Everton sniffing about not Man U and Chelski
    I don’t think he is worth Β£60k a week ( my opinion )

ahahha… if he Leaves Ty, I hope nobody wears his legendary number 4… πŸ˜€

    • TysonM says:

Lol,no i think we should retire the No.4 shirt when he leaves. In memory of him Matte πŸ˜‰

      • mattefumi15 says:

        Ahaha… Good idea Ty πŸ˜€

      • Quickdraw Slaven a party says:

I thought the No.4 shirt had been retired quite a while ago lol

        • Rads says:

That was the appearance given, but there was actually a man inside it on the pitch. It just seemed like the shirt was in a wax work Nolaninho.Next season it will stay in the museum & not be carried on to the pitch each match πŸ˜‰

  • TysonM says:

Nolaninho is irreplacable Matte,we know that. But it is sad to say we might have to.I am going to be so unhappy if he leaves πŸ˜€

  • mattefumi15 says:

Yes, I like him, skilled player, Β£6 mil. I think it’s a good price. Never as good as Nolaninho. of course… lol

  • GW says:

Agree Irons but why not throw Downing into the equation to, yes he had a good few games but inconsistent as well and we still could receive good money to subsidise other moves?

    • mattefumi15 says:

      spot on GW πŸ˜‰

    • IronsEssex says:

Downing when played in the CAM role was quality, as a winger I don’t rate him same predictable moves again and again. I would get rid of him just yet we still need squad depth, he hasn’t exactly been dead wood like Nolan, Jarvis, Obrien etc he still scores here and there and creates forward play

      • IronsEssex says:

        Wouldn’t get rid*

      • GW says:

See when your coming from but if Payet and Cabaye are signed that would leave Downing to play on the wing which to be honest he never flatters in. I’m not saying get rid but a 29 year old on the fringe of the England squad would generate good money to put towards a winger that has more natural ability on a lower weekly wage…just my thoughts that’s all

  • IronsEssex says:

Sell Jarvis, move Nolan along and we’ll have more then enough to cover the cost. Good players cost money that’s how it works, we need this sort of player to move forward

  • jwood362 says:

Jarvis Nolan Downing or Payet, Cabaye and Obiang with Valencia sniffing about in behind Sacko and Remy. It might just be me but it’s starting to feel exiting again to be a hammer.
