Irons ready to shock City after four day break

West Ham go into their last action of the season fresh and ready after being given a four day break by manager Sam Allardyce.

Despite all his preoccupations with the sacking speculation surrounding him, Allardyce decided to give his squad a rest as they bid for what would be the biggest shock win of the season away at Manchester City.

The manager explained that he had decided to give the players an incentive ahead of the Spurs win last weekend.

He said: “It was a little motivation from me – beat Tottenham and you will have a few days off.”

City meanwhile are facing third third game in seven days after clashes against Everton and Aston Villa.

Allardyce has a fit squad whilst City boss Manuel Pellegrini welcomes back Sergio Aguero from injury to a likely place on the bench whilst Fernandinho is fit enough to start for the leaders.
