West Ham have told to Sunderland to stuff a “joke” offer they have made for Diafra Sakho.
Irons insiders told us earlier in the week that no offers have been received for the Senegal front man but today it was reported by Sky News that an £11m bid had been received.
And just a few minutes ago a top Hammers soure told ClaretandHugh exclusively: “It’s a joke offer and Sunderland know it – quite ridiculous.”
£11 million would not be acceptable anyway and it was far less than that. To be honest it was almost as unbelievable as it could possiby have got.”
We were told that Sunderland had attached some totally ridiculous clauses to the offer which meant that to reach the £11m mentioned they would have needed to have stayed up three seasons in a row with Diafra starting a minimum of 30 games every season.
The Irons immediately explained that the offer was unacceptable at every level!
We could always go back for Jenkinson he is worthless now and they are still trying to buy there 4th right back,
Bet they are so happy they gave him a new contract and pay rise
What comes around goes around Wenger
Agree with you bubs , and you didn’t abuse anyone in you’re analysis !
Voltare at his best !
This new app is giving me that soggy feeling, let’s hope most of the chat will be football and Mrs Pancras the political lady or Mrs Beaton does not convert our site,
Sakh must stay until a couple of better players join us AC needs to be told he will be an impact sub at best because he can not change his style,
Yes we need a new CH alongside Ogbonna,Reid,Tomkins and Ginge are not our answer,
We plenty of youngsters coming through as back up as well as Kouyate Norveld,
You can slag me off but the 3 above should be sold to bring in a really good CH and RB
To cover Byram we have the Left covered,
Mrs.Pancras was in some sort of meltdown last night.Ranting about silly little men & some guy with multiple accounts. There really are some strange ones on Wetpants.Oh & the funniest thing was when she said ‘You must think I was born yesterday’.Lmao,er no we can see you avatar it would be impossible to believe that.
Baffled! Thought BFS didn’t want to sign Sak for us and it was a DS signing? Also Sak blanked BFS and gave his award to DS?! Methinks there’s some mischief making going on here! #coyi
Bloody hell they are all out today.AOI,Somewords,Justsaying.Is it a Wetlands outing tonight 😉
And there was me thinking I’d read on this site that Sakho and Allardyce had a poor relationship and the Sunderland link was nonsense…
OT Sorry lads but just looked at WHTID and couldn’t stop chuckling at Mrs Lidds attempt to blind everyone on there by her insightful political knowledge. Hoping her use of long words would baffle everyone. So funny.
Don’t slag their untouchable princess, rather you than me lol
Totally agree with both Markro and Antman
Yeah agreed Markro but we also have a set of forwards who are sick notes pretty often.I for one don’t want to be yet again in another season where we have to rely on a Carlton Cole or Jelavic/Emenike scenario. It ain’t all about the goals, its about getting one who isn’t so bloody injury prone as what we have now.
I’m getting tired of the 20 goal a year nonsense.
We scored 65 (that’s SIXTY-FIVE) goals this season. The champions scored 3 more than we did and the highest scoring team in the Prem scored 6 more than we did.
The numbers show that leaking goals was our problem, not scoring.
It’s the defence that needs attention.
Suffer a miserable fate. You seem like a cheerful fella Kevin lol
West Ham need to sign somebody , that much is clear . But it’s not strikers we need .
We have the strikers in our squad already . What we need is a better balance and that is down to Bilic . Sakho is a player that can outshine many a big money transfer . We don’t need to spend millions on a marquee player . Apart from that we have Carroll as well .
Maybe a player who can play out from the back and assist midfield . Apart from that we don’t really need much else .. Or the players we have didn’t do the business last season ( including referees ) . We had a terrible mid season of injuries . If those players were available during the entire season we wouldn’t be talking about spending millions to improve a squad that is already the envy of many a Premiership Club . It seems West Ham are getting the OS jitters . We need to make money before we throw it away . We already have a squad that doesn’t need too much tweaking . Just need a bit more luck with injuries and decisions . If the management are not happy now with our squad , then there will be a queue to leave made up of players that have done us proud . We should use our youngsters instead of ignoring them .. A mid table finish next season mixed with The Europa League would be be sufficient for a small club that has ballooned overnight . Expectations can be set too high and it’s dangerous to aim too high in our first season in our new home .
OS or not , we must keep our feet firmly on the ground or suffer a miserable fate .
I can’t see Carroll being content with being sat on the bench & though the money ain’t mine he is a bloody expensive impact sub to have on the books. If I’m honest I wouldn’t be too bothered to see any of Valencia,Sakho or Carroll go.It wouldnt give me sleepless nights let’s put it that way lol
I spent a few happy minutes over there this morning until i finally got bored of talking to a plank of wood.
I agree that AC is probably the best impact substitute in the league, but I can’t see him on bench warming duties for long. Not sure if Sakho’s heart and mind are still with West Ham after his spat with Bilic. It looks like, next season,we will have Antonio on the right and probably Tore on the left,so we will need an accomplished striker or 2,which unfortunately won’t come cheap.I’m thinking maybe Bacca,(although £19m is a lot for a near 30 year old)and Vince Janssen and Calleri on loan if they can get him.Just an opinion!
He’s too busy saving the working class for trivial stuff like a possible Sakho move GW lol 😉
Bored of shit stirring here moved back to Wet Pants Billy as his invitation to the annual sleepover was lost in the post?
Anyoldiron made up for it today by visiting to do his usual shit stirring lol.If one dont get you the other will 😉
Floppy what’s your opinion about it all?? Or is politics your area of expertise today?
I don’t see any of our strikers as first choice quality tbh, think Sakho is a bit over rated, I like him in the team but he’s never gonna be a 20 goal a season striker, need him as a second choice/play two up front when need be, and say what you want about Carroll, but there is no better impact sub in the league. Definitely not worth selling. Think personally we should let valencia go and replace him with the top quality first choice striker we need
I don’t believe for one minute Bilic sees Carroll as a long term first choice, must play striker & I think if or when we sign someone new then he will be no more than an option.
I must be missing something here. Sakho is by a country mile our best striker. I just saw his finish today with his weaker left foot – what a finish. No matter what the bid he is not for sale – this is of course assuming Bilic has not falled into the same trap as our previous manager that Carroll is our best striker and must play. Sell them Carroll and play both Sakho and Valencia up top in their natural positions and stop accomadating Carroll in th team. Now I have got that off my chest lol lol
In the course of a week Sky Sports News have half the premiership players moving from one club to another. Its a joke.I guess they have to find something to say to keep viewers tuning in.
