Irons reject offers for stars

|

Valencia scoresWest Ham’s squad has been attracting attention from across the Premier League with several offers having been made for first team members.

But the club has resisted all overtures and this afternoon insisted it’s very unlikely anybody will be sold despite keen interest.

Speculation of a deal involving a player swap plus cash started earlier today and although club insiders are keeping names of those involved to themselves there was denial that there had been much activity and interest behind the scenes.

However, a top insider told ClaretandHugh exclusively: “Nothing is likely to happen and 100 per cent not players plus cash. The quicker this window shuts the better for us.”

Enner Valencia (pictured above) has been touted as interesting Chelsea, Diafra Sakho has been regularly linked with Liverpool and Aaron Cresswell has also been watched.

However, our source declared: “There are lots of offers, but we’ve turned them all down as we do not want to lose players at this time.”

Are you sure no one offered Messi plus cash for Nolan ? Are we back in for a new right back instead of a new midfielder ?
Arsenal are not coming for Read let’s sit down with him now and make a deal,
Shut the doors until the summer and wait until the 2 Daves decide whose in charge and where we are going.

Any offers for Nolan?? I would personally off load Carroll as well while he is still sound. We can thrive with Valencia,Sahko and Kouyate and don’t need Nolan and Carroll.Come to think we don’t need the manager either.I am sure Bubs,Rads45 and Mr Miller could pick the side themselves for a lot less money.

    Sure i could Roman,its a no brainer.

Valencia seems to be getting grief atm but he looked great up top with Sakho earlier in the season. It is Carrolls return that has buggered up his season. There is nothing written in stone to say AC must start every match.Only in sams mind 😉

you would have to think that at some stage this season Sam will have to play Sakho and Valencia up front again? Either by choice but more likely when AC gets injured or suspended which must surely happen sometime? It will be fascinating to see if the Valencia / Sakho combination is as exciting and productive second time around.

Tony I believe it can be.If Newcastle are still interested off load Carroll. He will invariably pick up another injury. Then we can release Valencia/Sahko on our opponents.
