West Ham United are continuing to keep a close watch on the situation of Manchester United right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka. The Hammers quest for a right back currently has more twists then an episode of Strickly, but reports that the Irons have ceased interest in the player are false.
The 26-year-old has fallen out of favour at Old Trafford and is open to a move away from the club. West Ham are monitoring his situation, along with other Premier League clubs, as we look to strengthen the squad ahead of the new season.
Wan-Bissaka is seen as a potential option to provide competition for Vladimir Coufal at right-back. The Hammers are also considering other targets, including Southampton’s Kyle Walker-Peters, but the Manchester United defender remains on their radar.
Wan-Bissaka might be convinced that West Ham is the right place for him. Even though Vladimir Coufal had seven assists last season – and once hit that total in the 2020/21 Premier League season – he is primarily a defensive right back.
This is where Wan-Bissaka would fit in, someone on the right side of the defence who can lock things down and even shift inside to unbalance the formation with the left back moving up…. straight from the Lopetegui play book!
haven’t you realised yet, there’s no money so all this who were going to sign or looking at hasn’t happened cos of Mr Mucky Fingers & he’s hold on the purse strings, we all know as West Ham fans what was needed about 7 to 8 signings so far 3 in
When are we going to stop ‘considering’ moves and ‘monitoring situations and actually start bidding for these players
I dont get it. What exactly are we ‘keeping a close watch on’? Either we want the player or we don’t. If we are just watching, what are we watching,
for someone else to make a bid? For the price to drop? For the wind to change direction? We are currently watching about 300 players, so it’s just meaningless drivel!!
I agree with you keep watching all these players and end up with none, I can’t see anymore players being bought they should have all the players they need by know.
I agree, it’s pathetic whats going on and typical of Sullivan. We are week after week and are still farting around despite the short time we have left. Why are we in this situation chasing our tails going round and round. Come on now let’s be a bit more professional and start making some decisions starting with Solet. Great player, low cost and only 24 years old and happy to join us so whats the problem?? Lets get this party started before someone blows the candles out…
OKay, still rumour ‘silly season’ but… surely Wan-Bissaka (Multi-positional/home-grown etc.) fits the West Ham profile more than some of the other potential targets?
With just 11 months left on his contract, an offer between £10-20mil. must surely be enough to tempt Man U to sell?
