Irons rubbish new Spurs link

adebayor-tottenham-west-ham_3259920West Ham have tonight rubbished speculation that Emmanuel Adebayor could yet be joining the Hammers.

Some media outlets are reporting that with his absence from the Tottenham squad list and the possibility of his contract being paid off, the Irons may move in on him  as an out of contract player.

But there’s next to no chance of that happening with a club source telling ClaretandHugh that the squad is now completed and the spending all done.

He said: “We’ve looked at that particular option and when everybody is fit we have enough strikers. We are happy with what we have..

“The Adebayor option hasn’t arisen anyway and he is still on the Spurs payroll. We are fine and won’t be revisiting that situation.”

  1. This bloke’s like Aladerci another bad penny that won’t go away

  2. That’s what spuds are like!!!!!!
This is probably Levy fed ??
Can’t accept we had him over on the deal and cost him 5 mill.!!!!!!!
    YESSSSSSS get in there!!!!!!!!!!
    COYI !!!!!!S

  3. Love it,let the spuds keep paying stupid money to him for doing nothing. That will p#ss Levy right off, great stuff 😀

  4. We do not need him the fans don’t want him and he would be a very expensive sub at best,
Let Levy pay one way or another,
He thought he was hurting us last year now he can pay the price
    Fukc you Levy

  5. It’s cost Levy more than is being stated, this has been going on since January, another 7or 8 months wages + the season coming, I estimate about £6.5 million and no sell on fee happy days

  6. Yes we did bubs!!!!
    Well and truly!!!!!!
    Luvly ain’t it !!!!!!!!

  7. We spent the adebayor money on antonio. Bilic was given the choice of whether he wanted to sign Antonio and he decided to go ahead with it. He made the right choice in my opinion. A pacey wide player who can also score goals is a great commodity. I would always prefer a punt on a hungry young prospect to a punt on a has been mercenary anyway.

  8. Most of it was the Agent with the Song connection, trouble is Arsenal players see us as a retirement plan and easy money,
Because there is no room as pundits because they have there quoter,

  9. WHY? would we want a inconsistent, mercenary for ££££ and troublemaker with a bad attitude, move on………………..
