Irons send Sunderland a message

|

james-collins-435648West Ham are ready to allow James Collins to leave either permanently or on loan should former boss Sam Allardyce move for him in the January window.

‘Ginge ‘ is out of contract at the end of the season and having played a consistent role under Allardyce’s management could get a career-lengthening deal should the Black Cats boss move for him.

West Ham sources have made it clear to ClaretandHugh that speculation linking James Tomkins with a move to the north east is being given the deaf are treatment and that the player is valued at around £10 million anyway.

But – having been ready to let him move to QPR on loan in the summer – the club will accept a deal from Sunderland should Allardyce come calling.

Collins made 30 Hammers appearances under the 60 year old in the 2014-15 season alone and with his defence a priority  he could easily turn to a player he knows and trusts.

A Hammers source said: “It is of course the manager’s decision but a move for Collins would probably be one of those to consider seriously as would any interest in Joey O’Brien whose contract ends next summer.

“James Tomkins is a local lad with a long contract in his back pocket. We wouldn’t have put it there had we not wanted to keep him. Why would he swap the Stadium of Light for the Olympic Stadium?”

Why is Tomkins even being mentioned anywhere in the media ?? – A major player in our Squad and often the unsung hero in our side and defence — Hands OFF ( Pens & Keyboards ) Mr Tomkins Please !! — I personally would like to see Ginge stay this season he has been playing well enough to add cover at the back if needed and he knows the defence so well he can slot in without upsetting the back line – But I also understand that he is a pro and at this stage of his career ( + age ) it would be stupid to turn down a lucrative transfer fee !

He could do us a favour in January & come collect some of the crap he left behind.Though most has gone already i guess.JOB can go no problems 😉

It’s bog off time for us now,buy Ginge and we will throw in JOB,
Even Hippo is not going to go for that,
But if we are going to give Oxford,Henry,Burke and Knoyle a chance in the future with 3 CH
Already and Kouyate and Song that can fill in it makes sense to let Ginge go,
Have we ant other dead wood BFS will need,

I feel sorry for Sunderland supporters as they will have to endure boring defensive football with a manager whose priority is to keep a clean sheet.
