Irons set to complete two more deals

manuel-lanzini-west-ham-liverpool_3343611West Ham are aiming to complete deals for Manu Lanzini and Cheik Kouyate by next month.

Having locked Dimi Payet into a new long term contrct the club is now aiming to sort out the other two midfielders by the end of March.

David Sullivan – as the club’s major contract broker – wants both deals done in order to leave the summer clear for new signings.

kouyateLanzini – at €8m – will be completed as soon as he has shown there is no recurrence of his recent injury following his brilliant comeback against Blackburn Rovers at the weekend.

Talks are currently continuing with Kouyate but there is no pressure as he is locked into a deal until 2018.

A source told ClaretandHugh exclusively: “He has 2.5 years left PLUS a 2 year option, so there is no rush. However, we expect it to be sorted within a month.

As for Lanzini, we can invoke the contract any time we want until the end of April and we are just checking his injury is not recurring.”

  1. Well done

  2. We nearly have all the major players tied into long term deals – well done Dave & Dave

  3. Shame we did not have Carroll on a pert time contact till he could prove his fitness,
Wonder what it will take to prove he is fit ?
Looked great last Saturday maybe a full 90 minutes this week will prove it,

  4. Great I will read back and see if I can contact him thanks for the heads up

  5. Cheers exile found him

  6. No worries bubs, ita on the video post i think 😉

  7. Every season the club is getting stronger and stronger. I back everything the club is doing at the moment, all the players we have signed have been great value for money and now they are keeping hold of them too.
Hopefully Lanzini is signed soon, a champions league quality RB and 20 goal a season striker I can see no reason we won’t seriously compete for a champions league spot providing we rotate them well and keep our players injury free.

  8. The press have started up the Reece Oxford saga again-yawn,but is he tied to us or is there any chance he may be sold?

    • From what I understand he signer a 2 year deal this winter so he is tied to us. If I’m not mistaken a 2 year deal is the longest possible due to his age (anyone know about this??). That does obviously mean that he can’t get sold, but it won’t be on a free for sure… The lad looks happy at West Ham to, so hopefully we get a 5 year deal in place asap 🙂

  9. As long as it ain’t oxlaide chamber line !!! Lol sounds like arsandall are trying to palm another flop onto us they don’t want , I compare him to moses , overrated and 1 good game in 10 ? . Plus he’s another sick note !! Have noticed big time lately all the pundits trying to unsettle us with the transfer rumours , something tells me they don’t like it were coming after their clubs and are becoming to competitive for them . They better get used to it , cos we are coming fast right up theirjacksy.

  10. The list grows Sturridge,Ox all have one thing in common Sick List,
Sorry our treatment room is full
If Reece gets a couple of games before the end of the season and proves to Slav he is not to young,he will start next season probably before Ginge, and Reid is often out sick,
Burke and Henry will be pushing as well,
We could soon have the best Britsh back 4 with everyone under 25,
Byram Oxford Burke Cresswell with Hendrie,Henry,Page,Dobson to back them up
Now would that not be a great thing to happen I hope I live to see it
