Irons: “Slaven favourite but talks go on with two”

bilicWest Ham have tonight admitted to ClaretandHugh that they are still negotiating with two candidates for the manager’s position and that “no appointment has been made at this stage.”

Earlier this evening agent and friend of Bilic, Muzzo Oscan,  tweeted that terms had been agreed for the former Hammer to become the club’s 15th manager of the club.

But when we put in a call to a top level insider we were told : “Talks are continuing. We are still in negotiations with two people. Slaven is marginally the favourite.

Oscan had tweeted: West Ham has agreed terms with Slaven Bilić wish my good friend a great season at West Ham ! And welcome to the East End.”

But our source added: “There is no contract in front of anyone at this stage but we are now very close.”

  3. Quickdraw, hope your Dallas comparison ain’t true. If it was then we’d all realise soon that Allardyce leaving was just a bad dream, soon we’d all wake up to see Allardyce returning to our dugout, chewing gum, looking disinterested as usual…LOL

    • Oh my god I’ve just had an image of BFS stepping out of the shower saying it was all a dream lol. Don’t worry Hamburg the nightmares are over, welcome to dreamland…..erm opening soon just one little detail to iron out first lol

  4. Any minute now Kevin will be let out of his coffin,

  6. Don’t worry bubs Spoonie converted. As for Kevin maybe he’s one of the mystery men. He’s like those Jap soldiers still fighting the war in the sixties,he’s the last fan standing

  7. 🙂 Way it is guys. Really

    • Despite all the impatience from us,they’re right to consider all options

  8. Wish they would just get on with it though.Im a relaxed geezer but im getting bored of it now.Sort them out Hugh, come on!! 😀

  9. I hope it’s Bilic. The other one can only be Bielsa and I’m really not sure about him.

  10. Wonder if we’ll ever know who the mystery candidate is. Would be nice to know who we turned down.

  11. Is this the West Ham way?

  12. Woke this morning no Kevin must have increased his medication
Hi spoonie not long before you can write your new song for the season

  13. Something perhaps to consider – the Daves have made two managerial appointments in their time here, and neither of them were well regarded by us lot when they were made. I’m not saying that we should have a say in this sort of thing, but surely they can’t ignore the idea that, if they appoint someone that we have confidence in, then we’re more likely to give him and the team 100% backing.
