Irons striker target staying put

zasaWest Ham have been warned there is little chance of summer target Juventus striker Simone Zaza joining them in the winter or next close season.

Despite failing to make an impact so far the player is happy in Turin and seemingly unattracted to the Premier League.

He was linked with the Hammers and Arsenal at the end of the transfer window as we hurried to bolster our striking options.

Zaza was linked with both Arsenal and West Ham towards the end of the transfer window as both Premier League clubs looked to strengthen their attacking options.

But his agent Christian Maifredi has been quoted as saying he has no plans to leave Jve saying: “We do not consider this a possibility He’s fine in Turin. He wants to give everything to Juventus and represent the future of the Old Lady.”
