Irons transfer window update as new name emerges

|

Samir_Nasri_Euro_2012_v2David Moyes has pledged to do all he can to bring in a couple of players to help the Hammers cause with just a few days of the winter transfer window left.

The injury to Manu Lanzini could possibly cause a major problem and Moyes declared; “We will do all we can to bring in players to help.”

One name being mentioned is Samir Nasri who arrived in Turkey at Antalyaspor after six years at Manchester City, having formerly been with Arsenal and Marseilles.

The 30-year-old midfielder  is looking for a fresh start and a board member Cumhur Arici said: ‘A clear decision has been made for a parting of the ways with Nasri.

‘His manager will come and negotiations will be made on the subject of money owed and we will part company.’

Meanwhile the Hammers are reported to still be talking about a loan deal involving Inter Milan’s Joao Mario while they have also asked about Bologna’s Adam Masina.

And on the outward front it’s claimed they have rejected an offer from Rennes for Diafra Sakho but that Bordeaux are also expected to make an offer for the 28-year-old.

This blokes trouble , he would destroy the dressing room ! He’s hated in the game , they want him out big time ? Be warned ! This bloke is a waste of space 😈

  • jimbo says:

Sounds perfect for us then Laz. He, Sakho, Carroll and Antonio can sit in the treatment room and plot together for 6 months, with a combined salary of £250k a week! Just what we need to develop the Moyes ethos and secure survival.

  • claret says:

Why would we be remotely interested in a has been player who was rejected by other premiership clubs this is pure paper talk just nonsense especially after Moyes stated he Wanted younger players who he could develop

  • master says:

he may been reputed to be disruptive but boy he’s a proper player. we fixed arnie, who’s to say we can’t fix this bloke.

Unless he has sorted his attitude out I am with the others if Wenger, Pellegrini or Guardiola couldn’t sort him then it’s a long shot imho

So the idea of buying British is a pipe dream . Let’s settle for has been’s on loan from foreign soil . Don’t think the dressing room is in danger , Laz ; Moyes definitely demand’s more respect than Bilic .
And ain’t it just typical , Hernandez pops up and scores right after I suggested he should move on . Will we or I , ever learn ?. …… who would want to be a Manager ?.
I have said that in my opinion the January window should be scrapped ! …… but with the unexpected Injury to Lanzini maybe I should re-evaluate the notion !?! .
Hard work being a fan , especially at West Ham , omg .🤷‍♂️🙄🤐

A good player on his day …but we don’t need any prima Donna’s to upset the apple cart atm especially when we have impressionable young pros coming through..plus he’s going to sting us on wage demands …..the problem is there are very few good players out there that are willing to come to us that are not being sold at ridiculous prices ….we’re in dire needs atm ….our squad is down to skeletal bare bones which is clear for us all to see…i don’t think he’s right for us atm ..but he’s defo a baller …

A big upturn in performances is only papering over the cracks . Hart ,Fonte, Noble , Carroll ,Hernandez ,Oxford are not anywhere good enough and Reid and Obiang are not much better .
Looks like the twins will get away without actually spending a penny of their own money and we will hang on in the division and have exactly the same problem next year . Carroll did not even have the common sense or decency to keep himself fit so that we could get rid of him . Hernandez scores when we have all seen he is way past his best and Noble is 6 inches quicker than he was but still creating nothing , can’t defend or tackle but it is not his fault it is those that pick him . Nasri not good enough for Hammers . Are you having a laugh . !00% more ability than any of our squad apart from perhaps Lanzini who is not filling the gap created by the slimmey “Judas ” frog .

  • Lazurus. rises like a salmon says:

Its not his a ability bubbles its his frog attitude , no body wants him ! He’s trouble so best left to someone else , anyway as said its 99% bolloxxx anyway ! Expect 10 story’s a day until the window closes , all smoke and goalposts 😂

  • jimbo says:

Bubbles – You nailed it without realising bud – One judas- frog for another! This guy has no team ethic, only thinks of himself and is a royal pain in the backside. Don’t you reckon we’ve enough of this type already?
Out and out ability – You’re spot on, I’m afraid to say – Better than anything we’ve got currently, including Lanzini.

Much rather take a risk on someone without PL experience a Max Arnold, Thomas, Delaney, Elynoussoui, James Maddison be great.
Can t buy all British players its to expensive & impossible especially with creativity. In response to earlier post I like the idea of buying young British players.
But imagine would have high wages which is supposedly holding us up w Shelvey I would rather go for Shelvey then Nasri. Nasri can create but like Laz said causes issues & is 30yo.
Why not take a punt on Tom Cairney he is Scottish creative mid or some of others I said.

We don’t need PL experience we need talented players in right position.

On that supposedly Moyes is going to watch Inter game which Mario won’t even likely play in maybe get a sub.
Why no go & watch Dendocnker who wants a move & is playing today. I know Henry is a big fan & covers position we need.

Clement Grenier is French .. another frog to enjoy lads 😱

  • Lazurus. rises like a salmon says:

Well he speaks the lingo and isn’t Senegal a French colonial country from the 1880,s and still the main focus of its west African empire ? What’s Carroll’s excuse keV ? 😂😂

  • Lazurus. rises like a salmon says:

In other words Kevin ! Yes he is French of sorts , thought I’d simplify it for you mate ! 😇
Sisley used a mean brush as well keV ! Instead of tar he used oil !!😂

  • Lazurus. rises like a salmon says:

What about Toulouse Latreic keV ? Bit like Nolan ? Dodgy legs !!😂😂

  • Lazurus. rises like a salmon says:

Even the auto correct is looking after noble now !😂😂

  • Ruffellite says:

When he was at his nadir at City Nasri was superb. We haven’t seen such a talent playing in their prime at the club in years. Never mind his dressing room ‘manner’ or his nations
Its or religion. If he wasn’t 30 and had legs that worked I’d sign him in a blink. Not now though. But we seem to attract only players who are desperate to give their pension funds a final flourish.

Yet again another transfer window passes without the Club’s leadership delivering a credible purchasing strategy.

  • Ruffellite says:

    …’nationality or religion’ – apologies
