Irons try to hijack Doku

The French news outlet Foot Mercato has claimed the Irons are making a late play to hijack the Rennes winger Jeremy Doku away from Manchester City.

Supposedly one of Moyes “priority” signings, presumably like the Maguire shambles, except in this case he is actually rather good.

According to transfermarkt, the right winger played 35 times in the French top division and scored seven with four assists.

What with yet another European adventure ahead of us as well as a hectic domestic season to contend with we are in need of more wide options before the transfer window closes, as we are only a couple of injuries away from problems.

We seem to be light on the right flank as apart from Jarrod Bowen, our two other wingers Said Benrahma and Maxwel Cornet are predominately left sided.

However if we are standing toe to toe with Manchester City, I fear there will only be one winner.
