Irons v Chelsea ’86 – a repeat would be perfect!

We start our build-up to the big weekend derby with a look back to one of the classic games between the two sides.

It was 1986 – the great season in our history and the game was a total thriller.

In the end the outcome was quite wondrous and it’s worth giving this video six minutes or so of your lives.

A repeat would be absolutely perfect.

Not bad, I remember parts of that game especially the first two penalties those were the days when ref’s would make decisions right if they had screwed up, they should till have leeway to do that these days. The hammerettes have got a lot better looking too if the end of the video is anything to go by !
