Live Text: Irons v Liverpool: 4th Round FA Cup replay

Kick off 7.45

The Boleyn Ground

CayoMSVW4AIoLy7We’ll keep you up to date with live text reports if you are nowhere near a TV tonight.

West Ham boss Slaven Bilic: “We’ve played Liverpool many times this season, twice recently with different line-ups.

“We played their strongest team and then a team with five or six regular starters, so we are well prepared for whatever team they come with.

“They are a big club. They’ve had ups and downs this season but make no mistake, whenever a team is facing them, you have to have a complete game.

“You can’t give them time and space because they will harm you, they have quality. We have to be good, brave, direct and skilful, which we showed in two out of the three games we played against them.”

Liverpool XI: Mignolet, Flanagan, Lucas, Ilori, Smith, Stewart, Chirivella, Teixeira, Coutinho, Ibe, Benteke.

Brazil playmaker Philippe Coutinho returns to the Liverpool starting XI, which again has an unfamiliar look. There are 10 changes and injury-hit England striker Daniel Sturridge is on the bench.

Hammers XI: Randolph, O’Brien, Ogbonna, Reid, Cresswell, Noble, Kouyate, Antonio, Payet, Obiang, Valencia.

Hammers Subs: Adrian, Carroll, Collins, Moses, Oxford, Cullen, Parfitt-Williams.

  1. Will be interesting to see how Ogbonna and Reid play, the central defence didn’t look right with both of these left sided central defenders playing together earlier in the season. Liverpool have put a very young team out, whilst we are fielding a very strong one. Hoping for a great reaction to the Southampton performance and a win for us, COYI !!!

  2. Did not watch but listened to probably the best entertainment in the cup for 10years,
Antonio could solve our right back problems as well as being great on the wing,
Payet is quite for ten minutes then brilliant for two but what class,
Great Great night for us all but real heart in mouth times that’s the Westham Way
    Another dodgy ref
