Irons: “Very good chance” Hart will become a Hammer

HartJoe Hart tonight looks to be very much on his way to West Ham.

The England stopper is at this moment in negotiations with the club which look to be heading for a successful conclusion.

Hart has been linked with the club all summer but it has only been over the last four or five days that the Hammers have stepped up discussions with the 30 year old.

We were told by a senior club source just a few moments ago: “It’s not done as we speak but there is now a very good chance that Joe will be joining us.”

The Manchester City keeper is likely to sign a one year deal with the option to make the move permanent at the end of the 217/18 season.

The Hammers are set to do a deal which will see hart join the club on wages of around £100k a week as we head into our second season at the London Stadium.

  1. And Palace are keen on Adrian. I am not big on Hart has been on decline and his wages even if City help doubt they will pay half. So that’s striker money.
Adrian wants to work under De Boer tll so that could happen but should get at least £7m for him think they for that for Mandanda.
But I think Ospina, Patricio or Vorm would be better. First 2 are younger and Ospina is Consistent. Patricio is exciting and good on feet. Hart’s positionimg has been rubbiah

  2. This would make Hart the highest earner at West Ham and He would be in loan. They are worried about a goal scorer’s wages upsetting the other players but not a Keeper. Adrian has been just as good as Hart of late and when compare to his last season at City they are very similar. Decent keepers that can make big mistakes.
We news goals needed them for over a decade aoens that £100k on Little Pea or another striker

  3. Hart will come back to the PL with something too prove and you know what i think he will stick some opinions right up some backsides.

    • I am hopeful as you are that Hart will prove people wrong, he has been all but kicked out of City and hopefully we will sign him, although to be honest Adrian looked really good when he came back into the team so if we don’t get him it won’t be the end of the World, if we do sign him I would loan out Randy.

  4. After watching Harts recent England performances I think he is overrated & not worth £100,000 a week also the priority should be two good strikers or perhaps Bilic has come to “respect the point” & hopes to get enough draws to stay in the prem

  5. We don’t need Hart . It’s all to make West Ham more attractive with a big name . Hart is no better than Adrian , or , Randolph . In fact I would go as far as to say Adrian is better than Hart . Third choice Keeper at City and a failure in Italy . I really am suffering to connect a

  6. Bad connection …. to continue ; I really am suffering to connect a good reason with sanity as to why we need a fading Keeper when we have a better one already installed . He cost England a few losses and did no real favours to city .
Great Striker though . Feels like someone is pulling my .

  7. I would take Hart on loan & hopefully he will do the business.
I got totally ****** off with the swapsies between Randy & Adrian last season.it was becoming comically 😁

  8. It wont matter one jot who we sign the crusty cracked armchair scouts wont want them.

  9. Why oh why??? The costs do not provide the appropriate increase in quality. More in charge on crosses perhaps but vulnerable to free kicks. We have bigger priorities which we have not secured. Sorry but not impressed!!!

    • 71 England caps. Englands #1. Multiple medals and trophies. The face of Head and Shohlders Shampoo (lol) – you must take some impressing fella.
