Irons website set for big changes

West Ham fans are well served by the variety of Hammers websites available to them.

Our friends over at KUMB under Graeme Howlett have been doing a fine job for a long time  and  in the couple of years ClaretandHugh has been on the scene we believe we have succeeded in supplying a top daily exclusive news service. That won’t change. That’s what we are.

Now comes news from Iain Dale that his  www.westhamtilidie.com is set for big changes over the next few months and we wish him well with his plans.

In an article now appearing on the site Iain outlines some of his thoughts declaring:  “We’re going to add a new NEWS AGGREGATION feature which link through to the newest stories on other sites like KUMB, Blowing Bubbles and Claret & Hugh.

The only thing I think we’re lacking now is the ability to post up-to-the-minute news stories. In some ways I am not too worried about this because I don’t see us competing with KUMB or Claret & Hugh, but on the other hand, it would be good to replicate the kind of posts which Sean Whetstone used to write.”

Sean of course has become associate editor on this site and is an invaluable member of the operation. I can’t praise him highly enough on his dedication to what we try to achieve here.

That Iain should be linking to news stories from our site  is a compliment. We’re delighted he thinks our stories are a useful addition to the Irons scene in general.

We wish him well in his new way forward.
