Irons will pay whatever it takes for top boss

|

MoneyballWest Ham will pay whatever it takes to get the highest quality boss possible.

The club has diverted a couple of millions from the player to the managerial salary budget to ensure they get the highest quality candidate available.

But there’s still a feeling of frustration and disappointment that Rafa Benitez was stolen away by Real Madid of all clubs when he was all but signed, sealed and delivered as the next Irons boss.

A well placed insider told ClaretandHugh: “There’s real frustration among some fans who believe we should have had things tied up by now but Rafa was within a couple of hours of signing.

“Now we are having to reassess all the options but one thing the club won’t worry about is wages. They can satisfy any boss on that level which is why they are being very choosy and careful.

“They have no doubt they will bring in a top quality candidate – salary won’t be an issue for the right man.”

DeBoer or Klopp will do…had to laugh at the comment about Real “stealing” him away.

Then it’s just if they fancy us or not,
The problem is still going to be they will want control of transfers and about £100 million
    to spend,
Now is money no problem I think not

I would have to see some pretty conclusive evidence to believe we were even close to signing Benitez.
Same with managers like Klopp and De Boer. We have heard so many rumours about big name players in the past and finished up have to scrape the bottom of the barrel to find someone…anyone.
When they are standing in front of the TV cameras introducing a top manager, then I’ll believe it and as popular as he is, I don’t include Bilic in top manager class. A good manager who’ll probably do a decent job and maybe even a very good job but not one carrying a top manager label at this time

canchaz I was out with some people that are close to people involved with Valencia and they think Bernitez has signed already possible last Thursday but it has not been released,
I do not know this for sure,
I still think Biesla will be the best bet of the top ones on the list
Plus he wants to come to us but he gave us a 3 day deadline last week or he was going into contact talks where he is

Anyone notice Moyes was present at the FA cup final yesterday, bit worrying

  • bubs says:

Yes but he said very quickly that he intends to win the Spanish League,
Must be taking the same drugs as BFS and Kevin
