Irons working on Lee’s future

leeWest Ham are keen to find a loan club for Elliot Lee.

Despite signing a new deal the young striker remains out in the cold at Upton Park and the club want him to get regular first team football elsewhere to continue his development.

Despite making an impressive appearance as sub in the pre-season friendly against Sampdoria, it appears thefront man is again way down the pecking order at the Boleyn.

The arrival of Enner Valencia, Mauro Zarate and Diafra Sakho,  is limiting the player’s opportunities as much as ever.

And a well placed club source told ClaretandHugh: “We would be prepared to put him out on loan but the problem is ensuring he gets regular first team football.

“It’s pointless sending him out and seeing him not get the experience he needs so it’s something we are working on.”

  1. Maybe finding a non English club would be an option? CC and the lower division clubs are allowed to loan players from PL but not sure how leagues in other countries can do, anyone who knows? Going to another country could be good in more than footballing reasons, many grow as persons and get new perspectives as well.

  2. Out of one cup already he needs a team until January then find a buyer for cole and vaz te and put on our bench
