It is time for change

Claret and Hugh‘s Facebook admin man David Pope has a very clear idea of the sort of approach David Moyes must make against Olympiacos this evening and declares it is time for change.

It is time for change

There is no place for an ultra defensive set up. Nor is there any reason at all to play out of form strikers such as Michail Antonio and Danny Ings. That might prove a disaster given the appalling record of both in front of goal. Ings hasn’t scored a single goal this season and Antonio none since the Luton games 11 games ago.

As Dave writes in his piece on the C and H Facebook page it is time for the Hammers to change and says:  “During our 3-1 Carabao Cup win over Arsenal last week David Moyes started with a front four of  Jarrod Bowen, Mohammed Kudus, Lucas Paqueta and Said Benrahma.

Ings has not worked

With Michail Antonio out of form, and Danny Ings in no form at all, it has to be time to continue with a more attacking formation. We have the players to compete successfully against almost any team but what we require is the utilization of our strengths which will allow the seriously creative players in the squad the freedom they need to dominate matches. Come on Moyes you know it makes sense.”
