ITK Fabrizio Romano has confirmed CandH‘s revelation that Thilo Kehrer looks set to join Monaco only on a loan deal initially.

ITK Romano confirmation
The German had initially believed to be on his way in a permanent deal to the French club but as we explained that is not the case.
Our key Hammers contract told us early on that Kehrer was to be allowed to leave as he has not come up to expectations at the club and that talks were going on with a view to the loan followed in the summer by a permanent deal.
Now in his own update within his Daily Briefing, Romano has declared that the deal is now being finalised.
And he adds that it will indeed be a mandatory buy option clause in case of specific targets. Monaco will pay a €500k loan fee. There are still details to clarify in order to get the deal done and sealed soon as CandH explained.
