ITK Fabrizio Romano has doubt the Hammers will find a new striker in the winter window. Discussing the issue on his Daily Briefing he claims that if the manager is truly after a top of the table challenge he will need to find someone having tried to get away with what he has had in the past.

David Moyes has of course been keen to attract Bournemouth’s Dominic Solanke to the club but appears to be failing with the player happy where he is after scoring seven goals and providing one assist in all competitions this season per WhoScored.

He added that the Bournemouth boss has been quoted as saying of Solanke that “he’s happy here,” when asked by a reporter about links with West Ham. And the ITK adds that is certain to disappoint the east Londoners who’ll likely have to look elsewhere for their new front man.
