ITN’s ‘no comment’ from Met on Green St problems

CrushWest Ham were top of the  ITN News tonight as the  inquest into last night’s events outside the ground continued.

And the questions this website put forward earlier about Manchester United’s late arrival at the ground at last are being asked.

According to ITN the United squad did not leave their docklands hotel until 5.30pm and they said on the evening broadcast there had been no contact with the police ahead of them leaving.

That seems seriously odde given the enormous hype surrounding the game and that nobody appeared to realise there was a problem in the are of Barking Road and Green Street seems bizarre.

Meanwhile ITN revealed that the Metropolitan Police refused to comment when they contacted them about the events ahead of the game.

We stress there is no way this website has anything but utter contempt for those who attacked the United coach but there are other issues that need exploring.
