West Ham have tonight confirmed that James Tomkins is out for the rest of the season.
And as we reported last week the big central defender will need an operation on his dislocated shoulder.
It’s grim news for the 25 years old who damaged the shoulder in training when taking a tumble and was immediately taken to hospital for scans.
ClaretandHugh was told at the time that the early indications were grim but it has not been until tonight (Tues) that the club has released the news to a media outlet.
We were told: “James’ season is over. He is out for the season and will definitely need an operation on the injury.
“It’s really rough on the player but it will be dealt with quickly although the healing process can take up to 12 weeks which means his season over.”
Looking on the bright side, he’ll be back for the new season alongside Henry whom he’ll get to know in physio, we are not really playing for anything now anyway and may as well blood a few of the kids in the team
definitely a debut on the cards. problem is the center-back injury list includes:
Tonks
Henry
Burke
Oxford
Yeah dafishes & im sure that between now & the seasons end reid or collins will have joined them, both are prone to missing matches here & there. We could be playing with O’Brien & Jarvis as centrebacks 😀
lol orient here I come
Tyson it will be Nolan and O,Brien,
If Henry had been in are squad not on loan BFS would not have played him and now he would be fit,
BFS OUT
