Max Kilman has signed his West Ham contract and completed his medical following his £40 million transfer from Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The confirmation of the transfer deal was posted on social media by Football Insider Fabrizio Romano, who is known to have close ties to Tim Stiedten.

Within the last hour, the ITK wrote: “Max Kilman, new West Ham player as contracts have been signed right now.

£40m deal, completed.”

That still leaves the formalities of the player registration to be completed. It’s fair to say that Max Kilman can now be considered a West Ham player. The former Wolves captain completed the first part of his Hammer’s medical yesterday and the second part today, and passed with flying colours.

All that remains now is a formal announcement and the usual press duties by the in-house media team.

New Hammers head coach Julen Lopetegui will now look to include West Ham’s second-biggest transfer into his pre-season schedule immediately.

Hammers Chat my first game was West Ham 10-0 Bury . . . seriously!
We than went and bought Bury's central defender 😬⚒️ Irons

Started Hammers Chat alongside my partner in crime Geo back in 2014 and brough in to Claret & Hugh by my old mate Hughie to produce videos a couple of years later.

Give West Ham opinions on Sky Sports News and even did a bit of moonlighting on BBC Football Focus.

Sometimes feature on BBC Radio 5 Live and once ate a biscuit in Tony Gales shed.

Connoisseur of salted caramel doughnuts and I love a Sloppy Giuseppe pizza although I'm slightly suspicious where the name came from.

When I'm not moaning about West Ham I can be found walking a dog that looks like a sheep and tinkering with pinball machines.

West ham have brought a fine young player in max I for one wolves fan wish him all the best and believe this is a sound investment for West ham .

Five minutes ago it was Wolves fans saying how good he is, he’s our captain, he won’t go on the cheap, we don’t need to sell anyone when it was patently obvious that someone needed to be sold, justifying the money being asked…

Now it’s he’s slow, dodgy, awful, not sorry to see him go – It cannot be both of those things. The twaddle changes only according to whether it’s before he’s gone or after. It is laughable and you are being laughed at.

I am a wolves fan and wish Kilman all the best but am not sorry to see him go .We lost a few games when Dawson was out

I remember a lot of negative comments when we signed Craig Dawson – let us see how Kilman gets on before criticizing the deal

Another waste of money from a manager who hasn’t got a clue hope I get proven wrong

Finally! Next bring in a quality striker?

    • S says:

Quality striker and maybe a good young defender like Greaves from Hull. Plus offload some deadweight salary to give players Guillerme and Earthy some minutes and that’d be a good window in my book!

I doubt west ham fans know what they’re getting with kilman. He is slow, very slow. His distribution awful. Positioning dodgy at best. He simply cannot play in a back 4 because he’s just not good enough for that. Wolves have a great deal here make no mistake.
