It’s happened again – West Ham double over Spurs

West Ham’s under 18s completed a club double over Spurs within a few days after the first team produced that extraordinary win at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium!

The boys completed a fabulous 4-2 victory over over U18 Premier League South Division leaders Spurs with a tremendous performance.

The lads reacted well to going behind to a Callum Olusesi opener when Elisha Sowunmi found the net from close range to start the comeback, before Liam Jones struck with his first touch to make it 2-1.

Spurs grabbed an equaliser through Damola Ajayi before the young Irons scored two more to move within touching distance of the leaders.

Substitute Jerry Umolu found Sowunmi from a Dan Rigge set the Hammers’ attack in motion whilst a bit late chaos  saw Mehmet Halim head home from close range.

The young Hammers picked up their seventh win in ten league games and move two points behind Spurs, with a game in hand.
