It’s Hammer of the Year time and your chance to vote has arrived.
In a year such as this whoever wins it is truly going to deserve it and I wonder whether tradition will be broken by a Hammers manager receiving the big award.
There are so many choices outside of Moysie himself and Jarro Bowen may be leading the way with some top performances and 16 goals to his name equalling Paolo Di Canio back in the early Premier League days.
Obviously Declan has a huge chance again after a series of magnificent performances in this amazing year whilst the heroic Craig Dawson will be the choice of many after playing much of the season with some injury of other.
Big choices are there to be made and voting is no open in the various categories:
Goal of the Season, Save of the Season,
Team Performance of the Season and
Individual Performance of the Season –

Cresswell might have been a candidate earlier in the season, but just recently he’s maybe become a big game liability,
Perhaps he could convert to a winger. After all he’s a great attacker, corner taker, and a wow with free kicks. If Moysie freed him up from defensive duties, with someone behind him to avoid those dodgy situations, then who knows? He certainly enjoys attacking.
Of course we would need a replacement full back.
Although my head says Bowen – he has been fantastic, my heart says Dawson, because he has given so much heart to our cause. Body on the line, unsung quiet hero who has been both front line defender and useful attacker, week after week. He epitomises the Hammers Bonzo spirit. Cheers Craig, you got my vote.
There’s three names in it for me……. Bowen, Dawson and Rice
I agree several good candidates in a great season but Dawson is my choice. Its like watching a reincarnation of Billy Bonds!
