Jaanai Gordon scores on debut

gordon444-293x300West Ham loanee, Jaanai Gordon scored on his debut for Sligo Rovers in a pre- season friendly with Derry City over the weekend.

Gordon joined West Ham from Peterborough on the last day of 2013 for an undisclosed fee after Sam Allardyce initially tried to scupper the transfer.

He has spent previous loan spells at Chelmsford City and Nuneaton Town while at West Ham before joining Sligo Rovers in Ireland on loan until August this year.

Gordon scored the only goal in the pre-season friendly before the Irish Premier league season begins at the start of March. As the video footage shows below The Derry City keeper is no Darren Randolph or Adrian but Gordon capitalised on the keeper’s poor attempt at a clearance.
