Jarrod Bowen watch – England v Australia

|

West Ham star man Jarrod Bowen did himself no harm at all on his recall to the Three Lions. Here are the touches he made during the game. He was left isolated for much of the game notably in the second half. Despite that he helped set up two  good chances and for those alone we rated him a 7

8 mins: Lovely pass through two defenders to set up a fine cross to  which nobody could get a touch.

16 Misdirected forward pass picked up by Aussie defender

18 Nice run down the right side being confronted by two defenders and was forced into a back pass

26: Short pass into Dunk who went on to set up an attack

27 Beaten in a 50 50 chase for the ball by Aussie defender

43. Nice run and pass through to Maddison which forces a corner

44.From the corner he gets a header on goal which is comfortably saved

49: Partially clears from right back position but the Australians regain possession but final shot comfortably saved.

51 Typical final third run past two defenders but his ball inside is scuffled behind from Maddison’s near post effort

68 Defensive short pass to Tripper just over halfway line

72 Maddison misses out after superb short ball into the box from our man

74 Fine first touch from ball out of defence and short ball back as three defenders close in
