Spanish journalist Pipe Sierra who has 135,000 followers on X (formally Twitter) said online “Jhon Jáder Durán (20) is close to becoming a new player for West Ham . There is already a verbal agreement with Aston Villa for a figure close to £35M. It is expected that in the near future the documentation for the signing of the Colombian striker will be finalized”
Our senior source poured cold water on that claim by responding “Sadly, Aston Villa are asking more than that, but discussions go on”
