Kompany fitness update for Irons clash

KompanyManchester City’s Vincent Kompany insists he will be ready to play against the Irons this weekend.

The central defender picked up a calf injury in the 2-1 defeat to Juventus on Tuesday and was thought to be a big doubt for the match.

But the Belgian has given is reported this morning as saying: “It’s  “not serious. It was just a precaution. I know my body.”

Kompany is likely to start in the centre of defence alongside either Eliaquim Mangala or Nicolas Otamendi.

    I hope he plays I don’t rate him as a defender but he is a lucky charm for them and a good leader,prefer Agurero to be out but even if they play they are not 100%,
    We will give them there hardest game of the season,
