Kouyate always confident of quick return

KouyatewesthamInfluential Irons midfielder Cheikhou Kouyate has been given an “outside chance” of making the starting line up for Burnley.

Club insiders reckon that regardless of whether the Senegal international makes it or not, he will definitely be back for the clash against Manchester City  on October 25.

David Gold had tweeted earlier in the week that everybody would be fit for the Burnley clash but there remains a doubt over Kouyate despite him have made a much quicker recovery than expected.

A source explained to ClaretandHugh: “He’s a quick healer and was always insistent from the moment he got the injury he’d be ready for Burnley.

However that decision is in the lap of the manager who usually gives returning players a spot on the bench rather than launch them straight back in

Mark Noble is also back in training and will be ready for the match at Turf Moor.
