Cheik Kouyate could hardly be happier for Andy Carroll.
He has watched the big man slog his way back to full fitness and was thrilled to see him score his great goal against Chelsea at the weekend.
The midfielder declared: ““I am very happy for Andy. He is a nice guy and has worked so hard to get back to full fitness. He wanted to score and it was an unbelievable goal against Chelsea.
“It is great that we are third in the league. We just need to take it game by game and then see where it takes us.
And speaking to www.whufc.com he said: “I am happy with my form and to play so well against Chelsea. But it is about the whole team and everyone played well from Adrian through to Sakho.
“Andy Carroll has come on and done well. It is about all the players and we are one team. We need to carry on this good form and stay positive.
Last year Kouyate impressed me with his off field contact and he is growing as a person and player every week,
He reminds me of a young Vierra,
He will make a great club captain in the future leads by example
I knew if given the chance Carroll would do well but watching him celebrate made me gasp
Why not just walk back to the calf way line and beam not try and get injured shagging the grass,
