Kouyate’s Senegal away to a flier

KouySenegal- with Chiek Kouyate starying – opened their Africa Cup of Nations campaign coming from behind to beat Ghana  2-1 in group C.

Stoke’s Mame Diouf had levelled Andrew Ayew’s first hapf penalty for Ghana before Moussa Sow, of Fenerbahce, notched a stoppage time winner.

It gave Kouyate, who was earning his 15th cap for his country, the perfect start as Senegal attempt to lift the title for the first time.

  1. I watched this game on Eurosport. Kouyate didn’t see a huge amount of the ball but was very effective when he did. Senegal were crying out for diafra sakho. They missed some real sitters which I’m sure sakho would have tucked away with a problem.

  2. Without a problem
