Mohammed Kudus is the subject of conflicting reports this morning as West Ham gear up to sell the club’s top saleable asset.

Only yesterday, a top Hammers source informed Claret & Hugh that there had been no approach or bid for Kudus from Tottenham. In fact, the only official approach the club have admitted to so far was a swap deal presented by Chelsea.

That offer was rejected outright, with a West Ham insider telling us: “We didn’t want any of the players offered.”

However, talkSPORT are now reporting that West Ham could pursue Chelsea’s Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall or Carney Chukwuemeka once Kudus is sold.

With Arsenal reportedly looking at Chelsea winger Noni Madueke, it’s possible that the West London club might come back with a straight cash offer for Kudus. That would certainly be preferable to any multi-player swap, although a cash injection might allow the Hammers to go back in for Dewsbury-Hall if they miss out on other midfield targets.

Behind the scenes, West Ham are believed to be actively encouraging bids from all interested parties—presumably not too keen on selling to Spurs.

Meanwhile, BBC journalist and transfer specialist Sami Mokbel is being quoted as saying that up to seven top clubs are interested in signing the Ghanaian winger.

I like Dewsbury-Hall and Madueke if available in a swap, both decent attacking options that could improve if given the right coaching. Will also be interesting to see if Guilherme has improved enough to challenge Bowen.

Kudus was poor last season and hoping we can get a fair price for him COYI
