Ghanaian winger Mohammed Kudus has silenced transfer rumours by reportedly pledging his future to West Ham United, according to Football Insider.

Kudus has become a fan favourite at the London Stadium, exceeding all expectations since his arrival from Ajax at the start of the season. Despite missing a significant chunk of the campaign due to injury and international duty (AFCON), he has already amassed an impressive 11 goal involvements.

He has made a great impression with his well-rounded skillset,  pace, strength, dribbling ability, determination, and finishing prowess. His young age (23) only adds to the excitement surrounding his potential.

Despite attracting interest from other clubs, Kudus is said to be resolute in his desire to stay at West Ham.

West Ham, having invested £38 million to acquire Kudus, are in a strong negotiating position. His long-term contract (4.5 years with an option for an additional year) means they can demand a significant profit for any future sale.

While acknowledging our recent slump, we are still in a comfortable position in the Premier League table (8th) and the potential for a strong finish in the remaining games.

Overall, Kudus’ commitment to West Ham is a major boost for the club. His talent and dedication provide a beacon of hope as the Hammers look to navigate a challenging period and attempt to secure a return to European competition.

Kudus (7.15), Bowen (7.13) and Paqueta (7.10) are the three highest ranked West Ham players in the whoscored ranking of Premier League player statistics. Man-of-the-match they hold a 6,2 and 0 respectively. I.e. they represent skills added to pace. Keeping all three of them for the upcoming 2024/2025 season, would be a step in the right direction for West Ham.
