Kudus happy to be at West Ham

Ghana international Mohammad Kudus has become a truly exciting addition to the West Ham squad.

And it appears that Tim Steidmen played a big role in adding the former Ajax man to the squad.

The official West ham site reveals that the technical director travelled to Amsterdam  to convince Kudus that West Ham was the right club for him to join.

And after the player’s explosive goal scoring exploits for the Dutch club, these are genuinely exciting times for all Hammers fans .

His arrival means that we have serious competition in the attacking positions as we bid for a top six place in the Premier League.

And it is also great news that Steidman’s influence in attracting top players to West Ham has been realised to quickly.

In his first interview for the winger/ attacking midfielder said: “I like to entertain the fans as I think that is what football is about, and my dribbling ability, strength and finishing also. I’m just here to do my best to help the team. The fans should expect some entertainment!

He added that he had learned to be in the right place on the pitch to find the net adding: “Before, I was playing in a more central role and I was more involved around the box so I had to learn the timing in the box.”

“I’ve been dreaming to play in a league like this since I was a kid, so I’m just taking each day by itself and following my a dream and I’m here today. It doesn’t stop here, as we keep writing history and keep going.”

He added that Edson Alvarez’s arrival had helped him make his mind up to join the club saying: “Yeah, he gave me a great impression. He told me his experiences and he is loving it so far as he also pushed for me coming here, so I’m glad I’m here!”
