West Ham and Mohammed Kudus will have to wait until Monday to find out the outcome of their appeals against FA charges.

Mohammed Kudus was accused of “allegedly acting in an improper manner and/or used violent conduct after the offence he was sent off for”.

He was present at the London Stadium last Sunday to watch the Hammers beat Manchester United and has already served one of his original three-match bans. The appeal is limited to a second charge and the possibility of a further ban beyond three games. What triggered Kudus and what was said by a Spurs player will be provided in evidence to the tribunal.

West Ham also expects to receive the result of their appeal against the FA charge of “failing to ensure that their players didn’t behave in an improper and/or provocative and/or violent way” during the 82nd-minute sending off of Mohammed Kudus against Spurs. Spurs admitted the offence last week and were fined £20,000, West Ham appealed the same charge before the Thursday deadline and an independent tribunal sat to review the case this week. The Hammers could be handed a much larger fine if their appeal fails.
The Hammers had hoped to learn the outcome of the two appeals before the weekend but a club source confirmed the FA would now publish the results on Monday.
