Currently serving an as – yet undetermined ban following the “Spurs’ Slapping” Soap Opera, West Ham’s Ghanaian winger Mohammed Kudus is again the subject of transfer speculation and rumour. Clearly, all is not well between Hammers’ No.14 and Head Coach Lopetegui, after the reported dressing-room bust up at Brentford and Kudus’ frustrated lashing out at Spurs.

He was rumoured to have asked his brother, who is also his agent these days, to contact to Liverpool to get him away from London Stadium.

Now a new rumour is posted from the BBC today concerning the story in The Mirror about Arsenal lining up a bid for the Hammers’ Starboy. According to the bbc.com ‘Gossip’ page: “Arsenal are lining up 24-year-old West Ham United and Ghana winger Mohammed Kudus as a £90m replacement for 29-year-old Belgium forward Leandro Trossard, who is being targeted by Saudi Pro League side Al-Ittihad.”

With his well-known contract release clause set at £85 million coming back ‘live’ in the Summer of 2025 – we found that out last summer- it will not be surprising to find a handful of clubs come in to tempt Kudus away if West Ham’s turmoil lasts until January.

Kudus has already been linked with interest from Liverpool and rumours of Saudi Pro League bids under preparation.

Of course a new appointment in the head coach department may go a long way to ease Kudus’ mind and convince him at least to finish the 2024-5 season off at London Stadium before the bidding war begins.

From the old Bobby Moore Upper to the Billy Bonds' stand these days I've been watching since '03 and a supporter since about 1970.. 'Football is Life' oh yes. Let it raise your spirit but never darken your mood. Life's too short not to enjoy the journey with our Claret and Blue heroes n' villains.

Kudus as a world class player wants to win stuff and that can’t happen with clownish coaching from Lopetegui . Whether it be winter or summer 2025 Kudus is gone and who can blame him . After the second goal conceded verses Forest I stopped watching the match as it was too embarrassingly cringe worthy . Sullivan was scammed with a good power point presentation by Lopetegui who was hovering like a shark waiting for the job . An expert not an amateur needs to select the next Westham manager soon . If Lopetegui is still with Westham at Christmas many players will want to leave the sinking ship . Look out , Lopetegui seems set to hit every iceberg .

Really getting sick of this – failure to compete at the top end of the table season after season resulting in our top players moving on (and who can blame them!!?). It is inevitable that Mo is going to go in the summer, as we again finish the season in the lower depths of the EPL.

While I’d hate to lose Kudus accepting a handsome profit to be reinvested back into the team/squad makes good sense. Over any period of three seasons we have much less success in points gathered so star players are going to want to go to those clubs. It’s down to West Ham to manage the well or better than well by signing the right young players that appreciate in value. The real problem is the largest shareholder being involved in the process.

Are we becoming a feeder club for Arsenal now? I hope not! Reading between the lines I am guessing that perhaps the West Ham owners are worried about possibly losing some of our best players in a mutiny against our current head coach.

I wonder just how many of our players are unhappy with Lopetegui? So far it would appear to be at least Kudus, Alvarez and Summerville. Maybe add Fabianski to that list too, possibly even Areola as well.

I can’t say I know much about Edin Terzic other than him being assistant to Slaven Bilic at West Ham, and his experience at Borussia Dortmund.

I would be happy to see Graham Potter given the job as manager/coach at West Ham. I feel it would suit both him and us. And he’s still young enough to make a difference!
