Mohammed Kudus was on target for the second time in September’s international window as Ghana defeated Liberia in an international friendly last night

The West Ham official site reports at www.whufc.com  that the fprmer Ajax man grabbed the second goal in the  3-1 win.

Ghana won the game in the second half after a goal-less first 45 minutes with Ernest Nuamah, Kudus and Crystal Palace forward Jordan Ayew scored a third, meaning Liberia’s late reply was nothing more than a consolation. Kudus now has nine goals from his 26 international caps.

Saïd Benrahma started in Algeria’s 1-0 friendly victory away at Senegal while Nayef Aguerd’s Morocco were back in action beating Burkina Faso 1-0 in a friendly .

Aguerd played the 90 minutes his nation kept a clean sheet, ensuring Azzedine Ounahi’s first half goal was enough for victory.

Maxwel Cornet was a sub for Ivory Coast’s friendly against Mali in Abidjan but the game was abandoned because of weather conditions at half-time with the score at 0-0.
