Mohammed Kudus grabbed a couple of goals against Egypt tonight but couldn’t haul Ghana off the Bottom of Group B in the Afcon clash as the teams drew 2-2

Kudus scores two but Ghana still bottom

He scored a brilliant opener with a fabulous left foot shot beforeĀ  a crazy five second half minutes when the Egyptians equalised through Marmoush, a Kudus second and an Abdulla strike for the Egyptian second equaliser.

It was a decent performance from the Egyptians who lost skipper Mo Salah in the first half with the Liverpool man limping from the pitch.

Kudus was probably man of the match affecting the match throughout although maybe the second goal was a little fortunate with an Egyptian defender leaving his keeper unsighted for the shot.

At the end it meant that Cape Verde continued to head the group via their win over Ghana with Egypt second on two points, Mozambique in third place and Ghana bottom.

Should the side be unable to finish in the top three of Group BĀ  they will be eliminated from the competition.
