Sources close to Lacazette’s agents have confirmed our story this morning that any deal is off as the player has no interest in joining either West Ham or Spurs.
Football website HITC Sport has followed ClaretandHugh by reporting that any move to the Olympic Stadium is a non starter.
We reported our own sources as saying: “We have been told 100 per cent by the player’s agent that he doesn’t want to come and won’t be joining us.
“As a result of course there can be no further bids. It would need a dramatic change of heart by the player and that is seriously unlikely to happen.”
Hot on our heels came HITC’s quote from a source as saying “Lacazette’s agent confirmed last week to West Ham that he did not want to move to the Olympic Stadium, and Spurs were told the same.”
HITC.com go on to say “He has rejected Newcastle United twice in the last three years, but the likes of West Ham and Tottenham had both hoped to push through a move for the player this summer.
“However, Lacazette is firm on his stance – with his camp suggesting that only a move to Arsenal would convince him to move across the Channel this summer.”

Good news now we can move to a striker that will want to play for us and give their best rather than someone who sees us as second best, if what is reported is true this is a blessing in disguise and shows that what has been mentioned about his attitude is correct. Come on Dave’s try and get Janssen from AZ he is a more complete striker than Lacazette already.
