Disgruntled West Ham United fans are calling for Lucas Paqueta’s exit after a disappointing performance in their recent 3-1 defeat to Manchester City. The Brazilian midfielder’s lacklustre display has further fueled speculation of a summer departure.

Paqueta’s performance against the newly crowned Premier League champions left much to be desired. With only 30 touches of the ball and a complete zero in his duels, he failed to make a significant impact on the game. This underwhelming showing coincided with David Moyes‘ final game in charge of the Hammers, adding another layer of intrigue to Paqueta’s potential exit.

Rumours of Manchester City revisiting their interest in Paqueta during the transfer window have resurfaced. However, Pep Guardiola might have reconsidered his pursuit after witnessing Paqueta’s poor display, which was overshadowed by Mohammed Kudus’ spectacular overhead kick.

West Ham fans appear to have reached a consensus – Paqueta should be sold. Disgruntled supporters took to social media, urging the club to “get rid” of the midfielder following his latest limp display.

With a “going through the motions” performance and reported transfer interest swirling, Paqueta’s future with West Ham appears uncertain. The coming weeks will likely reveal whether the Brazilian will remain at the London Stadium or seek a new challenge elsewhere.

Should he go to Man City and plays like he has for the past couple of months then he will find himself sat on the bench just like Phillips pep won’t put up with just going through the motions he will need to be on top of his game for every game he plays in given how he has been since the start of the year it would appear that he is already at Man City in his head reality check he’s still a West Ham player as for him going to Man City that may or may not happen with his form nose diving so badly Man City may look elsewhere

Pacqueta is disillusioned playing in a side set up the Moyes way . There’s a few others as well ward prowse being one of them . Hopefully lopetegui gives them renewed enthusiasm .

Put a very good player in a very good team and he will get better.
Play Brazil’s no.10 doubling up your left back and you waste him.
Give him 3 forwards making attacking runs to pass to when he looks up vs none and see what he’s about.
A manager who knows how to use him in a great team and see the results.

    Why the change.
He arrived with panache and trickery which fans loved.
Moyes admitted the style wasn’t what he was used to and found it difficult to accept.
Is it something which Moyes tried to change?
Playing him out of position hasn’t helped.
Man City paid £100m for Grealish in 2021.
Paqueta skills are more than Grealish normally, which should put him in same price bracket.
If he goes shouldn’t be sold on the cheap, usual whu style making losses.

115,115,115 that’s all the pack can shout, come on City have simply been too good. So in the past when other teams constantly won the league because they too got great investment because they were the team of the moment was that challenged or accepted. When Man Utd spent millions on player’s but had half a billion pounds of debts did anyone complain, when Chelsea spent millions did anyone really complain. The answer is ‘no’ because they were the cartel who carved up the sponsorship money between them. When Pep hangs up his woolly jumper and leaves if and I say if the next Manager wins the next title what will they have to moan about.
