Lampard not surprised by Slav success

Frank-Lampard-1-COSFormer Hammer Frank Lampard says appointing Slaven Bilic was not a risk for the West Ham board  and says he has not been surprised by the success Slav has achieved as Hammers manager so far this season.

Speaking as a guest on Sky Sports’ Monday Night Football show, Lampard said: “Appointing Slaven Bilic was no risk to me, I know him pretty well, played with him for a couple of years there and we’ve crossed paths since.’

“He’s a very smart bloke with huge charisma, a perfect fit for the club. I really like Slaven personally, and I wasn’t surprised, I expected him to do well there.”

  1. The USA has helped Frank come to his senses again,
The youngsters of Rednapp and Lampard have more football savey about them then there dads,
Slav is the future for managers after listening to that idiot at Man U again trying to take the praise for Rooney scoring on T V,
These managers need to know the club is bigger then them,
