Lanzini back in the gym

Lanzini1

This will be a welcome sight for all Hammers.  Manuel Lanzini  is back in the gym doing strengthening work while still wearing a protective leg brace. At the end of July we were told Lanzini will be missing for anything  between three to six weeks.

The brilliant midfielder – injured while on international duty for Argentina ahead of the Rio Olympics – flew back into the UK two weeks ago and after scans at Spire Roding Hospital was told that he had suffered a soft tissue knee injury.

Slaven Bilic had previously targeted the Manchester City game on Sunday 28th August for his return saying: “He got a kick on his knee. It was not a big injury but he cannot play for four or five weeks. I think he will miss the first three Premier League games which is not ideal so he will hopefully be back after the Manchester City game

  1. Great to see him back,
We need an option to Payet and he is the other special one at our club,
We now have people with good skills and speed but only 2 have that touch of class that takes them to a different level,
    Get him fit fast Slav

  2. Top news,he is quality. He could be worth a fortune soon.

  3. i’m so glad he is back with our medical & fitness team and making good progress..
all the international football, Olympic, ACON & even Euros and World Cup qualifying is beginning to irritate me so much, we seem to always get our players back injured.
