Lanzini can hurry up his big move

manuel-lanzini-west-ham-liverpool_3343611Manuel Lanzini can clinch his eight million euros move to the club over the next 12 weeks as he bids to fill the massive hole left behind by Dimitri Payet’s absence.

The 22 year old is set to grow up fast as he becomes playmaker-in-chief during the French star’s lay off and his amazing goal in the last match against Everton could even be an indication of greater things to come.

The Hammers had all but made up their minds to activate the option they have agreed with his parent club Al Jaziera a the end of the season but will be under pressure now to sort it out in January.

Should the player produce the sort of form which  minimise the loss of Payet then the Hammers could go in earlier than they had planned,

We were told: “Eight million sounds expensive but this boy s showing it to be cheap and if he produces what we hope then it will be an absolute bargain.

“It’s better to judge over an entire season but if he comes though this period with flying colours then it could happen in January.

“But as we have said before the fee agreed is agreed and the deal is unbreakable – we are certain of that.”

  1. If he can endure the attention of the premierships finest donkeys,he will be a west ham player.

  2. Although the fee with his parent club may be agreed, what is the situation regarding personal terms? What happens if another, dare I suggest, bigger club turns his head & offers him a shed load more money to sign for them? Does our watertight deal suddenly spring a leak? The sooner we sign him up the better.

  3. I totally support the views that lanzini should be signed as soon as possible. However, as I suggested yesterday, and has been further hinted at from the comments of ‘exsoulie’, he could be the target for the sort of aggravation on the pitch, which if repeated int he public community, would result in some of these mongrels being sent to prison!
However, I remain confident that our ‘brilliant’ Slaven, will come up with a plan to provide maximum ‘buffering’, in order to protect our little ‘jewel’ (I would not be surprised to see the likes of Cheiik Kouyate move a little closer to Mani, but I could be right off the track on this one..

  4. Let’s hope the deal is indeed unbreakable because on calciomercato.com they have just rated Lanzini as third best player under the age of 23 in the whole of Europe.
