Lanzini contract agreement “unbreakable”

manuel-lanzini-west-ham-liverpool_3343611West Ham look certain to take up an option on Manuel Lanzini after the 22 year old’s astonishing progress over the early games of the season.

And ClaretandHugh is happy to confirm this afternoon (Sunday)  via our top insider that we have an absolutely “wateritght deal” in place to sign the brilliant youngster.

We have been inundated with fans questions and comments claiming that should we not sign him  in January he could get stolen away by another club.

But that can’t happen according to our best source who declared: “Please assure supporters via the site that we have a contract with him and his club we believe its unbreakable. We are absolutely sure that it is.

“Obviously we could make the decision now or in January but why judge him over nine games or half a season when we can do so over 38.”

ClaretandHugh had been informed the fee had been set at £6 million but our source has now reliably infomed us that it is in fact agreed at £8m.

He said: “That sounds a lot but it could look very cheap indeed by the end of this season.”

  1. Great news if true.Still think it is wise to judge him over a whole season or the very least half a season.Seen many players start on fire then disappear into oblivion. If he carries on the way he is going though he will be a steal at 8m.Dont know who sniffed him out but it was top work 😉

  2. He is quality aint he P45,i went to the match yesterday,he was immense.Far better than Payet on the day.Passed the ball about for fun & was everywhere.I reckon he is made for the prem alongside Payet. The are great together.Seems a lifetime ago people were crying that we should have never have got rid of Downing because we had no creative players or ones to set up chances, lol 😉

  3. When Lanzini came on the radar in the Summer, and I saw his videos, and then we actually got him, I wrote that he and Payet would light up the Prem…Oh boy; are they delivering or what? I only saw the highlights, but if that was Payet having a bad day and he produces a goal like THAT?? The Iceman cometh! Payet’s 2nd goal against Newcastle which belied massive tecnique and then this….He will strike terror into any goalie 1 on 1….This is one of the most amazing times to be a Hammers fan…Massive credit to Bilic, and to the 2 Davids for backing Bilic’s choices all the way. COYI

  4. Man of the match by a street. Remarkably difficult to knock off the ball and his feet are as quick as Payet’s.
Bilic has already said it – they work brilliantly in tandem.
If we can eliminate those silly defensive mistakes and those frustrating intercepted passes, we can have a storming season.
Carroll’s assist was great to see, Valencia’s now fit for some match time and Song is just about there too.
I can’t recall such strength in depth.
    Let’s mash Chelski next week!

  5. He has been on the radar 2 years he chose the Arabs before us last year, which is good news because Hippo would have destroyed him probably playing him as a wing back,
Yesterday a reliable source said 5/6 million now 8,I don’t need any more games to judg him
He is no one match wonder,
Call me an old sync but the Arabs have been changing there agreements for 100 of years and I for one would like to see him signed and sealed,
Just hope Downing gets better form so we get the extra money for the Jewel
Last year we had Downing this year
    Lanzini
    Payet
    Valencia
    Moses
    Antonio
    Zarate
    Samulsun
Come on wetpants lets bring back BFS

  6. We all know there is no such thing as a water tight contract, its all about the desire of the player and the selling club to get the deal done. he look’s like he is enjoying his football at the moment and he has undoubted quality. its nice when you are playing with quality players around you and you are given the freedom to play your game. For that kind of money its a no brainer.
